Characteristic and applications:

1. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in chloroform, ether and carbon tetrachloride.

2. Generally used as emulsifier, it can be used in textile printing and dyeing industry and pharmaceutical food fermentation industry. It can also be used as a lubricant in the textile industry, a smoothing agent for metal post-processing, an emulsifier, an emulsifying stabilizer and a wetting agent in food and cosmetics, and a penicillin inhibitor corylic acid in medicine.
